Slightly prickly
Are there days in your life when you meet people and they are just prickly? I like to consider myself a fairly calm and centred person, and I try very very hard when encountering such individuals to let it flow round me, however there are odd occasions when I believe the re-introduction of village stocks is the way forward !! m

Had the privilege of staying in Florence at the Baglioni. Not sure we could have picked a better spot than their roof garden to watch the sunset . m

Like most people I have good days and bad days, however regardless of the day this little fella sits on our stairs and smiles up at me. m
New Shades in Red
Got new shades just in case the sun comes out again – 2 year drought in the Uk and we have made up for it in April and May . Read this morning that April was the wettest for 100 years – no kidding !!!! m
Life is a complicated web ?
This a the most complicated and beautiful spiders web I have ever seen and managed to photograph. It is however just a series of web strands built up layer by layer until it looks impossibly intricate . Funny how life seems to mimic nature. How many of us start life with a few simple strands of our life web and then slowly build the layers of complexity until it looks like the shot above ? Maybe at the odd moment we should stop and check the state of our web and decide if we are still in charge of the web or the web is now in charge of us. m
